Job Description:

• We are seeking a skilled ICT / Network Configuration Specialist to join our team. This role is essential for the setup, programming, and configuration of ELV (Extra Low Voltage) systems and smart building devices.
• You will play a vital role in ensuring that all systems function correctly after installation, integrating various systems, testing their functionality, and providing ongoing technical support.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and Program ELV Systems: Work with systems such as CCTV, access control, fire alarm panels, and public address systems.
• Set Up IP Devices: Install and configure NVRs, controllers, and smart building gateways.
• Network Configuration: Manage network settings for ELV devices, including IP addressing, port configurations, and Power over Ethernet (PoE).
• System Integration: Ensure seamless integration of systems to work together efficiently.
• Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct thorough testing of systems and resolve any configuration-related issues.
• Technical Support: Provide support during the commissioning phase and assist with handover processes.
• Troubleshoot Issues: Diagnose and resolve software, firmware, and connectivity problems.
• Maintain Configuration Records: Keep detailed records of configurations and system settings.
• Support Upgrades: Assist with system upgrades, resets, and reconfigurations as needed.

Requirements:

• Familiarity with ELV Platforms: Knowledge of various CCTV brands, access control software, and ELV systems.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to logically diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication abilities for effective collaboration with installers and clients.
• Industry Experience: Experience in hospitality or smart building projects is a plus.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Educational Background: OND, HND, or Bachelor’s degree in ICT, Computer Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
• Hands-On Experience: Proven experience in configuring ELV or IP-based systems.
• Networking Knowledge: Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and IP devices.
