Job Description:

The Hydrotest and Pigging Supervisor will be responsible for planning, supervising, and executing hydrostatic testing and pipeline pigging operations to verify pipeline integrity, strength, and cleanliness. This role ensures all testing activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications and industry codes (API 1110, ASME B31.4/B31.8).

Requirements:

• Planning: Define test sections, calculate test pressures, and confirm water sourcing/disposal arrangements.

• Execution: Supervise pipeline filling, pressurization, holding, and depressurization in accordance with approved procedures.

• Pigging Operations: Supervise gauging, cleaning, batching, and drying pig runs before and after hydrotesting.

• Acceptance: Confirm cleanliness and dryness levels meet acceptance criteria before final handover.

• Reporting: Maintain accurate hydrotest logs, pigging reports, and pressure charts.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Diploma, Degree, or HND in any course.

• Experience: A minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience.
