Job Description:
We are seeking a proactive, organized, and people-focused HR Officer to join our team. You will serve as a key pillar in our organization, ensuring that our workforce is well-supported, effectively managed, and operating within a compliant and productive environment.
In this role, you will be the bridge between management and employees, handling everything from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations and performance management. Requirements:
Recruitment & Onboarding
End-to-End Hiring: Manage the entire recruitment lifecycle, including drafting job postings, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating seamless onboarding for new hires.
Employee Relations & Administration
Culture & Conflict: Manage employee relations matters, including grievance handling, disciplinary processes, and conflict resolution, ensuring a fair and professional work environment.
HR Records: Maintain and update employee records, HR databases, and documentation with high accuracy and confidentiality.
Attendance & Leave: Monitor staff attendance and leave records, ensuring proper documentation for payroll and reporting.
Policy, Compliance & Performance
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all HR practices align with Nigerian labor laws and internal company policies.
Performance Management: Coordinate the performance appraisal process, ensuring feedback is tracked and employees are aligned with company objectives.
Training & Development: Support staff training initiatives to foster a culture of continuous learning.
Reporting & Support
Payroll Support: Assist in payroll processing by ensuring accurate and timely submission of employee data.
Reporting: Prepare detailed HR reports and provide management with actionable insights regarding workforce metrics and trends.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of relevant HR experience.
Bonus: Previous experience working in a manufacturing or factory environment is a significant advantage.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of current Nigerian labor laws and best practices in HR management.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Hands-on experience with HRIS tools is highly desirable.
