Job Description:

We are seeking a strategically elite, operations-obsessed, and culturally rigorous Logistics Human Capital Governor to anchor the workforce engine and operational integrity framework of our organization. In the high-pressure world of trucking, logistics, and manufacturing where institutional momentum is dictated by the velocity of the fleet and the precision of the dispatch-filter success is defined by "Retention Sovereignty" the ability to harmonize high-volume recruitment with the clinical precision required for Driver-Safety Architecture, Compliance-Governance, and Employee-Retention Stewardship. This role is designed as an "Operations & People Command Center" a critical residency for an ambitious HR leader who can blend "Logistics Grit" (mastering the complexities of DOT/CDL compliance and shift-based environments) with the "Structural Agility" required to execute High-Fidelity Workforce Workflows.

Requirements:

1. Talent Sovereignty & Operational Pipeline Architecture

  • Sovereignty of the Fleet: Lead end-to-end recruitment for drivers, dispatchers, warehouse, and corporate teams, acting as the primary "Source of Institutional-Operations Throughput."

  • Pipeline Architecture: Develop robust retention strategies specifically for high-turnover industrial roles, providing the "Structural Foundation" for a stable workforce.

  • Integrity Stewardship: Ensure strict compliance with DOT/CDL and multi-state regulatory documentation, ensuring the "Source of Operational-Legality" is elite and uncompromised.

2. Governance Sovereignty & Performance Logic

  • Performance Sovereignty: Oversee performance appraisals and disciplinary procedures, acting as the primary "Source of High-Performance Momentum."

  • Strategy Architecture: Partner with operations leadership to align HR strategy with fleet/logistics goals, providing the "Functional Foundation" for business growth.

  • Culture Stewardship: Champion a "Safety-First" culture across the entire organization, maintaining the "Source of Risk-Mitigation."

3. Operational Fidelity & Strategic Power

  • Diagnostic Sovereignty: Assess training needs and implement development programs, acting as the primary "Source of Workforce-Capability."

  • Administrative Architecture: Administer payroll, benefits, and HRIS systems, providing the "Relational Foundation" for employee stability and trust.

  • Velocity Logic: Utilize Workforce Planning Tools to accelerate the "Onboarding-to-Efficiency" cycle, maximizing the "Source of Organizational-Productivity Momentum."

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience: 3+ years of progressive HR management experience specifically within trucking, logistics, manufacturing, or distribution. (Mandatory Requirement).

  • Technical Power: Solid understanding of DOT regulations, CDL requirements, and multi-state employment law; mastery of HRIS and workforce planning tools.

  • Aptitude: Exceptional interpersonal, conflict resolution, and leadership capabilities; ability to thrive in a shift-based, high-pressure industrial environment.

  • Mindset: Proactive, resilient, and ready to maintain "HR Sovereignty" in a rapidly moving logistics landscape.

  • Certifications: SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, or PHR certification is highly preferred.
