Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and strategically elite HR Generalist to anchor our people engine in Victoria Island, Lagos. In the sophisticated corporate ecosystem of VI, success is defined by "Human Capital Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize end-to-end recruitment with the clinical precision required for employee relations, performance management, and statutory compliance. This role is designed for a "Talent Architect" with a Bachelor’s Degree and 3–5 years of experience who can blend "Operational Grit" (managing leave, attendance, and records) with the "Strategic Agility" required to coordinate training initiatives and provide high-fidelity HR insights to management.

Requirements:

1. Talent Orchestration & Lifecycle Governance

  • Acquisition Sovereignty: Manage the full-cycle recruitment and selection process (sourcing to interviews), ensuring every new hire acts as a "Source of Strategic Value."

  • Onboarding Architecture: Execute high-fidelity onboarding and orientation, acting as the primary "Source of Cultural Alignment" for all new team members.

  • Record Stewardship: Maintain and update employee records and HR documentation with millimetric focus, ensuring the "Source of Personnel Truth" is always current.

2. Performance Resilience & Relations Logic

  • Performance Sovereignty: Support rigorous appraisal processes and performance management frameworks, providing the "Analytical Foundation" for staff growth and meritocracy.

  • Relations Architecture: Handle employee relations issues and disciplinary procedures with professional poise, acting as the "Source of Conflict Resolution" and workplace harmony.

  • Development Stewardship: Coordinate staff training and development initiatives, ensuring the workforce remains a "Source of Competitive Advantage" through continuous learning.

3. Compliance Integrity & Operations Power

  • Regulatory Sovereignty: Ensure unwavering compliance with company policies and Nigerian labor regulations, acting as the "Source of Legal Integrity" for the organization.

  • Operational Architecture: Oversee attendance, leave management, and staff welfare administration, ensuring "Zero-Friction" in daily HR operations.

  • Reporting Logic: Prepare high-fidelity HR reports and provide data-driven insights to management, utilizing 3–5 years of experience to optimize the "Source of People Strategy."

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience: 3–5 years of robust experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar people-operations role.

  • Certification: Professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, or equivalent) is a mandatory strategic requirement.

Core Competencies

  • Interpersonal Grit: Strong conflict resolution skills and the ability to manage diverse stakeholder interests in Victoria Island.

  • Technical Sovereignty: High-velocity proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel for data tracking and reporting.
