Job Description:
DOII Designs is seeking a visionary and strategic Head of Human Resources to lead our people operations. In this senior leadership role, you will be responsible for transforming HR strategy into operational excellence within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will serve as a key advisor to executive leadership, driving organizational development, ensuring rigorous statutory compliance, and fostering a high-performance culture across our production and corporate teams.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned HR professional with a deep understanding of the Nigerian labor landscape and the specific operational challenges of the manufacturing industry.
Requirements:
Strategic Leadership & Organizational Development
Strategy Implementation: Design and execute HR strategies, policies, and programs that directly align with DOII Designs' commercial and operational goals.
Culture & Engagement: Drive workplace culture initiatives and employee engagement programs to maintain a motivated and productive workforce.
Organizational Growth: Lead organizational development projects, including restructuring and change management, to support business scaling.
Operational HR & Talent Management
Lifecycle Oversight: Oversee the end-to-end talent acquisition process, from strategic recruitment and onboarding to long-term retention strategies.
Performance & Discipline: Manage the performance management cycle, ensuring objective appraisals and the fair application of disciplinary procedures.
Learning & Development: Design and deliver comprehensive training programs to enhance the technical and soft skills of employees across all levels.
Compliance & Administration
Legal Adherence: Ensure total compliance with the Nigerian Labour Law and all relevant statutory requirements.
Compensation & Benefits: Administer competitive compensation structures and benefit programs that attract and retain top-tier talent.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and supervise the HR and Administrative teams, ensuring high service delivery standards.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education & Professional Status
Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
Advanced Credentials: A Master’s degree or professional HR certification (CIPM, SHRM, PHRi, or SPHRi) is an advantage.
Experience & Technical Skills
Seniority: Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience.
Sector Expertise: Proven experience within the manufacturing industry is highly preferred.
Regulatory Knowledge: Expert-level knowledge of Nigerian Labour Law and modern HR best practices.
Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage senior-level stakeholder relationships.
