Job Description:
We are seeking a professional and detail-oriented Customer Service & Operations Officer to manage our front-office interactions and support essential banking transactions. This role is the first point of contact for our clients, requiring a candidate who can blend a warm, welcoming presence with the technical accuracy of a bank teller. You will be responsible for handling inquiries, managing transaction logs, and ensuring that administrative operations are executed with the highest level of integrity and efficiency.
Requirements:
1. Front-Desk Excellence & Client Relations
Client Concierge: Welcome and assist clients at the front desk, ensuring a professional and hospitable environment from the moment they enter.
Inquiry Management: Act as a knowledge hub for clients, providing clear and accurate information regarding services and basic banking procedures.
Appointment Coordination: Manage the scheduling of client meetings and appointments, ensuring smooth traffic flow within the office.
2. Banking Operations & Transaction Support
Transaction Processing: Handle basic banking transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, or account inquiries, with zero margin for error.
Log Management: Maintain meticulous customer records and transaction logs to ensure full accountability and audit readiness.
Compliance: Ensure all front-office activities align with standard banking operations and internal security protocols.
3. Administrative & Office Support
Communication Hub: Manage incoming phone calls, emails, and general correspondence, directing them to the appropriate departments.
Documentation: Utilize Microsoft Office (Excel and Word) to produce reports, maintain databases, and support general administrative tasks.
Record Keeping: Assist in the systematic filing and protection of sensitive client documentation.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education & Experience
Academic Background: OND, HND, or BSc in Banking, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven Tenure: 1–2 years of experience specifically as a Bank Teller or Front Desk Officer in a financial institution.
Operational Knowledge: A solid understanding of daily banking operations and customer service principles.
Core Competencies
Technical Proficiency: High level of comfort with Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel for transaction logging).
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written skills with the ability to explain financial processes to clients clearly.
Professionalism: A detail-oriented approach with the ability to maintain a poised and professional demeanor under pressure.
Integrity: Strong ethical standards for handling client information and financial transactions.
