FERTILITY NURSE TRAINEE AT LILY HOSPITALS LIMITED

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Description:

• The candidate will support the delivery of comprehensive nursing care to patients undergoing fertility treatments.
• This role involves hands-on learning across all aspects of fertility care—from preparing patients for procedures to assisting with post-treatment follow-ups—under the supervision of experienced fertility nurses and medical staff.

Responsibilities

• Document scheduled procedures on the theatre list.
• Assist in delivering and recording patients’ pre-operative and post-operative care.
• Ensure examination rooms and theatres are adequately stocked with necessary clinical supplies.
• Prepare the scan room and theatre for examinations and procedures.
• Coordinate with the pharmacy and assist patients in obtaining medications.
• Update both hard and soft copies of patient treatment summaries.
• Assist in updating patient records post-treatment (e.g., scan findings, clinical observations such as monocyte recovery, etc.).

Requirements:

• Must be a certified Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Midwife, with a valid license to practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association is an added advantage.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a clinical setting.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and people management skills.
• Must be a resident of Warri, Delta State or its environs
