Job Description:

The Agricultural Graduate Technical Trainee Programme (AGTTP) is a structured development initiative designed to train and equip young Nigerian graduates with practical skills across the agricultural value chain.

This is not just a classroom-based program. It combines:

• Structured technical training
• Field exposure and hands-on experience
• Real operational involvement in large-scale agriculture

Participants will be trained to become future professionals capable of driving efficiency, innovation, and growth in Nigeria’s agribusiness sector.

Programme Objectives

• Develop technically sound agricultural professionals
• Build capacity within Nigeria’s sugar production ecosystem
• Equip graduates with real-world agribusiness experience

Requirements:

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Hold a degree in any of the following:
  • B.Sc
  • B.Eng
  • B.Agric
  • HND
• Have studied any of these disciplines:
  • Agriculture
  • Agronomy
  • Soil Science
  • Agricultural Engineering
  • Or any closely related field
• Have 0–2 years of work experience
• Be passionate about agriculture and agribusiness
• Be willing to work in field-based environments
