Job Description:

We are looking for a reliable, energetic, and customer-focused Female Sales Representative to join our retail team. This is a purely in-store position focused on creating a welcoming atmosphere and providing top-tier service to our walk-in clientele. You will be the face of the shop, ensuring that customers find exactly what they need while maintaining the operational standards of the store.

The ideal candidate is a polite, proactive individual who resides within or very close to the Elekahia/Rumuomasi axis and thrives in a retail environment.

Requirements:

Customer Service & Sales

• Greeting & Assistance: Warmly welcome every customer who enters the shop and assist them in navigating our products.

• Consultative Selling: Provide detailed product information and personalized recommendations to facilitate sales and meet daily targets.

• Conflict Resolution: Handle customer inquiries and resolve any complaints with professionalism and a positive attitude.

Store Operations & Maintenance

• Transaction Processing: Accurately process customer payments via cash or POS terminals and issue receipts for every transaction.

• Merchandising: Maintain the store’s visual appearance by ensuring the environment is clean, organized, and inviting.

• Inventory Management: Track stock levels, manage restocking of shelves, and assist in periodic inventory counts.

Reporting & Accountability

• Sales Tracking: Prepare and submit accurate daily and weekly sales reports to management.

• Punctuality: Ensure the store opens and closes according to scheduled hours, maintaining high standards of reliability.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: * Minimum of SSCE/WAEC or equivalent.

• Experience: * Proven experience in a shop or retail sales role is an added advantage.

• Location: * Strict Preference: Candidates residing in Elekahia, Rumuomasi, or immediate neighboring areas.

• Core Competencies:

  • Communication: Excellent verbal communication and a polite, welcoming demeanor.

  • Sales Skills: Strong ability to close sales through effective customer service.

  • Character: Must be exceptionally honest, reliable, and punctual.

• Gender: Female (Specific requirement for this role).
