Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and technically elite Farm Supervisor to anchor our operations in Owerri / Obosima, Imo State. In a modern agricultural enterprise, success is defined by "Biological Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize high-intensity poultry production with the clinical precision required for biosecurity, fishery maintenance, and crop cycle management. This role is designed for an "Agrarian Architect" with a degree in Agriculture who can blend "Field Grit" (brooding, feeding, and bird care) with the "Technical Agility" required for clinical record-keeping, mortality analysis, and staff mentorship.

Requirements:

1. Poultry Orchestration & Biosafety Governance

• Production Sovereignty: Supervise all daily poultry activities—including feeding, watering, and brooding—ensuring every bird acts as a "Source of Productivity."

• Clinical Surveillance: Monitor bird health with millimetric precision, identifying signs of stress or disease early to execute timely vaccination and medication protocols.

• Biosecurity Engineering: Enforce strict hygiene and "Zero-Pathogen" practices to prevent outbreaks, maintaining the structural cleanliness of poultry houses and the surrounding environment.

2. Multimodal Synergy & Resource Logic

• Fishery Stewardship: Supervise basic fishery activities, including pond maintenance and water quality monitoring, to ensure "Aquatic Sovereignty" and optimal growth rates.

• Crop Integration: Oversee minor crop activities such as planting and irrigation, utilizing these outputs to synchronously support the farm’s broader nutritional and operational goals.

• Equipment Governance: Ensure the "Source of Power" remains functional by overseeing the routine maintenance and proper use of all farm machinery and tools.

3. Human Capital & Performance Intelligence

• Talent Evolution: Supervise and train farm workers on elite handling and safety procedures, acting as the primary "Source of Expertise" for the onsite team.

• Data Sovereignty: Maintain high-fidelity records of egg production, mortality rates, and feed consumption, providing management with "Intelligence-Driven" reports on farm output.

• Fiscal Grit: Assist in cost control by minimizing feed wastage and improving operational efficiency, ensuring the farm maintains a sustainable "Economic Velocity."

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Minimum of OND / HND / BSc in Agriculture or a related biological field.

• Experience: Proven track record in Poultry Production or agricultural supervision.

• Knowledge: Deep understanding of livestock management, crop production, and basic aquaculture.

• Leadership Grit: Strong team management skills with the ability to assign tasks and monitor attendance in a high-tempo environment.
