Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Planning Manager to lead the planning function for our Biscuits, Confectionery, and Snacks operations. You will be at the heart of our supply chain, ensuring that our production capabilities are perfectly aligned with market demand. Your mission is to maximize customer service levels while optimizing inventory investment across our manufacturing ecosystem.

Requirements:

• End-to-End Planning: Take ownership of Material Planning, Supply Planning, and Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP).

• S&OP Facilitation: Coordinate the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, ensuring alignment between Sales, Marketing, and Finance.

• Master Production Scheduling (MPS): Oversee production scheduling, factoring in capacity limitations, machine constraints, and lead times.

• Demand Excellence: Facilitate the demand planning process to improve forecast accuracy and eliminate bias.

• Inventory Control: Manage stock levels within agreed policy boundaries; establish safety stock and reorder levels for both raw materials and finished goods.

• Innovation Support: Partner with R&D and innovation teams to ensure successful, timely launches of new products.

• System Integration: Lead ERP (SAP) projects to integrate MRP, MPS, and capacity planning modules into our core operations.

• Leadership & Growth: Develop and train a high-performing team of demand and supply planners.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: B.Sc. in Engineering (M.Sc. or MBA is highly preferred).

• Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in Supply Chain management within a leading global Agri-Manufacturing or FMCG environment.

• Methodologies: Strong preference for candidates with experience in Lean, Six Sigma, or TPM (Total Productive Maintenance).

• Technical Skills:

  • Expert-level knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems is mandatory.

  • Strong analytical capabilities with a focus on data-driven decision-making.

  • Ability to manage complex SKU portfolios and capacity planning.

• Competencies:

  • Excellent communication skills to bridge the gap between technical operations and commercial teams.

  • Proven track record of evaluating risks and creating contingency plans in high-pressure manufacturing environments.
