Job Description:

We are seeking a creative and versatile Content Creator to join our marketing team. In this role, you will be the voice of our brand across multiple digital touchpoints, responsible for producing high-quality written content that ranges from informative articles and in-depth ebooks to high-engagement social media posts. You will blend storytelling with technical SEO expertise to drive brand awareness, educate our audience, and convert web traffic into loyal customers.

The ideal candidate is a wordsmith who is equally comfortable in a Content Management System (CMS) as they are in a brainstorm session, with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for digital growth.

Requirements:

Content Development & Publishing

• Drafting & Structuring: Prepare well-structured, engaging drafts for various digital platforms, ensuring a consistent brand voice across all pieces.

• Marketing Copy: Create and distribute compelling marketing copy designed to advertise our company’s products and services.

• Editorial Standards: Meticulously edit and proofread all written pieces before publication to ensure they are error-free and professional.

• Fact-Checking: Conduct thorough research to fact-check long-form content, ensuring all published information is accurate and credible.

SEO & Performance Optimization

• Search Optimization: Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to ensure our content ranks highly on search engines.

• Technical Management: Use Content Management Systems (e.g., WordPress) to upload, format, and update website content as needed.

• Analytics Tracking: Measure web traffic and engagement metrics (e.g., conversion and bounce rates) to determine the effectiveness of published content.

Engagement & Social Strategy

• Social Promotion: Promote content across social networks and actively monitor engagement, responding to comments and tracking shares.

• Audience Insights: Identify customer needs and pain points to recommend fresh topics that resonate with our target demographic.

• Creative Collaboration: Coordinate with marketing and design teams to ensure articles are well-illustrated and visually appealing.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education & Experience

• Qualification: HND or OND in Marketing, English, Journalism, or a relevant field.

• Proven Track Record: Proven experience working as a Content Creator, Copywriter, or in a similar professional writing role.

• Technical Experience: Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (specifically WordPress).

Technical & Professional Skills

• Writing Excellence: Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills in English.

• SEO Mastery: Solid familiarity with SEO guidelines and keyword research tools.

• Digital Publishing: Skilled in using digital publishing platforms to reach and grow an online audience.
