Job Description:

NerdzFactory is looking for a Video Editor Intern to support the creation of engaging multimedia content that showcases our programmes, events, impact stories, and digital platforms.

Requirements:

• Multimedia Production: Support the end-to-end creation of engaging multimedia content that highlights NerdzFactory’s programs, events, and community impact stories.

• Social Media Editing: Edit and optimize short-form and long-form videos specifically tailored for various social media platforms, digital campaigns, and promotional events.

• Digital Storytelling: Transform raw footage into cohesive, compelling visual narratives that resonate with our target audience and amplify our brand identity.

• Creative Collaboration: Work closely with the Communications team to brainstorm content ideas, align video deliverables with broader campaign goals, and ensure consistent messaging.

• Skill Development: Actively learn and apply new video editing techniques, digital content strategies, and audience engagement metrics under the guidance of experienced professionals.

Qualifications and Skills:

Eligibility: Must be an active NYSC member currently deployed to or seeking a PPA in Lagos (Ogudu GRA proximity is an advantage), or an early-career creative seeking a structured internship.

• Technical Passion: A strong foundational interest in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, or CapCut) and content production tools.

• Creative Eye: A demonstrated flair for digital storytelling, visual pacing, and creative content formatting.

• Adaptability: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines for time-sensitive campaigns and events.

• Team Player: Highly collaborative with a willingness to receive feedback, learn, and iterate on creative projects.
