Job Description:
We are seeking a meticulous and highly organized CAMO Engineer (Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisation) to join our engineering team in Lagos. In this role, you will be responsible for the continuous airworthiness of our fleet, ensuring that every aircraft remains in peak operational condition and fully compliant with both manufacturer specifications and the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) regulations. You will serve as a technical gatekeeper, evaluating complex engineering data and translating it into actionable maintenance instructions.
The ideal candidate possesses deep technical knowledge of aircraft systems and a disciplined approach to regulatory documentation and fleet monitoring.
Requirements:
Technical Evaluation & Compliance
Publication Review: Evaluate all technical publications, including Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Service Bulletins (SBs), modification documents, and repair publications to determine applicability to the fleet.
Engineering Orders: Create and issue Engineering Orders (EOs) required to maintain fleet configuration and ensure compliance with manufacturer and NCAA standards.
Manual Management: Update and maintain critical maintenance manuals, including the Maintenance Program (MP), Maintenance Control Manual (MCM), and Reliability Program Manual (RPM).
Monitoring & Fleet Reliability
System Tracking: Track, monitor, and investigate the performance of aircraft systems and components to identify trends and ensure long-term reliability.
Document Control: Monitor all maintenance documents to ensure they are current, accurate, and readily available for audit.
Quality Coordination: Work closely with the Technical Planning and Quality teams to ensure all maintenance activities align with safety and regulatory frameworks.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree or HND in Aeronautical Engineering, Aircraft Maintenance Engineering, or a related field.
Experience:
3–5 years of experience specifically as a CAMO Engineer within an airline or aviation organization.
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with aircraft maintenance software and digital record-keeping systems.
In-depth knowledge of NCAA regulatory requirements and international aviation standards.
Core Competencies:
Attention to Detail: Absolute precision in evaluating technical data and managing documentation.
Planning & Prioritization: Ability to manage multiple engineering tasks and meet strict airworthiness deadlines.
Analytical Rigor: Strong investigative skills for monitoring aircraft component performance.
