Job Description:

We are seeking a high-energy and results-driven Business Development Executive to spearhead our fintech growth in Ibadan. In the rapidly evolving financial technology sector, success is defined by "Quality Growth", the ability to not only mobilize new customers but to ensure they remain active and financially compliant. This role is designed for a "Field Catalyst" with 1–2 years of experience who can blend "Sales Grit" with the "Relationship Diplomacy" required to manage repayment schedules within assigned communities.

Your mission is to ensure "Market Penetration and Sustained Portfolio Health." You will be the primary engine of our regional expansion: responsible for territory activation, lead conversion, and rigorous client follow-up. If you possess "Negotiation Mastery," a target-driven mindset, and a background in Field Marketing or Direct Sales, we want you to drive our commercial excellence.

Requirements:

1. Territory Activation & Customer Mobilization

  • Market Penetration: Drive consistent sales growth by identifying and mobilizing new customers within assigned Ibadan territories.

  • Lead Conversion: Meet and exceed assigned weekly and monthly sales targets through high-intensity field marketing and direct sales engagement.

  • Community Engagement: Build and sustain strong, high-trust relationships within local communities to ensure long-term brand loyalty.

2. Portfolio Management & Risk Mitigation

  • Repayment Oversight: Conduct consistent and proactive follow-ups with clients to ensure a low default rate and maintain the quality of the loan/product portfolio.

  • Account Stewardship: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer accounts, ensuring all repayment schedules are documented and followed.

  • Default Prevention: Identify early warning signs of payment delays and intervene through effective negotiation to protect the company’s assets.

3. Reporting & Performance Tracking

  • Documentation Mastery: Utilize basic reporting and documentation skills to provide daily and weekly updates on sales performance and collection status.

  • Target Alignment: Monitor personal performance against assigned KPIs, adjusting field tactics to ensure all commercial objectives are met.

  • Market Intelligence: Provide feedback on competitor activities and customer pain points within the Ibadan market to inform future sales strategies.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: OND, HND, or B.Sc. in any relevant field.

  • Experience: 1–2 years in Sales, Field Marketing, or Direct Sales. Fintech experience is a significant added advantage.

  • Location Edge: In-depth knowledge of Ibadan geography and its various commercial hubs.

Core Competencies

  • Persuasion Mastery: Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills to win over new customers in a competitive landscape.

  • Target-Driven Grit: A proven record of meeting sales performance targets under minimal supervision.
