Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and technically elite Backend Engineer to anchor the computational engine of our Abuja-based Fintech operations. In a specialized financial landscape where institutional momentum is dictated by the speed of the transaction and the precision of the security protocol success is defined by "Systemic Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize distributed server environments with the clinical precision required for API Development, Database Schema Design, and Cloud Migration. This role is designed for a "Computational Architect" with a Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of experience (preferably in Fintech) who can blend "Logic Grit" (mastering OOP, PHP/Laravel, or Express) with the "Strategic Agility" required to implement OWASP Security Principles and manage AWS Ecosystems.

Requirements:

1. Orchestration & API Governance

• Computational Sovereignty: Develop and maintain the high-quality code and infrastructure supporting web and mobile applications, acting as the primary "Source of Backend Reliability."

• Integration Architecture: Engineer RESTful APIs and aggregate multiple data sources into a unified system, providing the "Structural Foundation" for cross-platform delivery.

• Integrity Stewardship: Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests, ensuring the "Source of Software Quality" is elite and uncompromised.

2. Tactical Resilience & Scalability Logic

• Database Sovereignty: Create and optimize database schemas in MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle that support complex business processes, acting as the primary "Source of Data Persistence."

• Velocity Architecture: Leverage caching mechanisms (Redis/Memcached) and queuing systems to optimize output, providing the "Functional Foundation" for high-speed transaction processing.

• Security Stewardship: Apply OWASP principles and manage session logic in distributed environments, maintaining the "Source of Fintech Security."

3. Operational Integrity & Cloud Power

• Cloud Sovereignty: Lead the migration of applications to the AWS ecosystem and leverage serverless technologies, acting as the primary "Source of Scalable Infrastructure."

• Collaborative Architecture: Work within agile, cross-functional teams to align backend outputs with front-end platforms, providing the "Relational Foundation" for unified product delivery.

• Velocity Logic: Utilize 5+ years of Fintech engineering expertise and Git versioning to resolve deployment bottlenecks in real-time, maximizing the "Source of Computational Throughput" in Abuja.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master’s is an advantage).

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in high-quality software development, specifically within Fintech.

• Technical Power: Proficiency in PHP (Laravel) and/or Javascript (Express) with strong OOP and SQL knowledge.

• Cloud Mastery: Deep understanding of AWS, Cloud migration, and preferably Serverless technologies.
