Job Description:
- The Assistant Manager, Client Service Delivery provides critical support to the Unit Manager in delivering high-caliber insurance services.
- This position encompasses underwriting, client account management, claims administration, and business development activities.
- The Assistant Manager is responsible for ensuring efficient documentation, effective communication, and seamless coordination with clients, insurers, and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Underwriting & Client Interaction: Record and distribute meeting minutes, prepare slips and endorsements, negotiate terms with insurers, analyze quotations, and oversee the dispatch of policy documents and declarations.
- Client Debiting & Payments: Generate debit notes and cover letters, ensure precise billing procedures, and accurately monitor client payments with appropriate documentation.
- Renewals Management: Track impending renewals, issue timely notifications and reminders, participate in renewal meetings, and coordinate placement processes with underwriters.
- Post-Renewal & Claims: Maintain comprehensive post-renewal registers, administer the claims process from initial notification through settlement, and ensure all documentation and correspondence with clients and insurers are complete and accurate.
- Account Reconciliation: Prepare and verify statements of account for clients and insurers, reconcile debit and credit notes, and coordinate the issuance of credit notes as required.
- Reporting & Documentation: Regularly update monthly production schedules, draft general correspondence, and maintain meticulous records in accordance with established internal procedures.
- Business Development: Identify and pursue prospective clients, assist the Unit Manager with client acquisition initiatives, and maintain accurate CRM records.
- Other Duties: Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Head of Operations
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in a similar capacity.
- Demonstrable experience within a broking firm or insurance company is essential.
- Exceptional organizational and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal capabilities.
- Proficiency in underwriting and claims management processes.
- Ability to oversee client accounts and manage related financial documentation.
- Experience in business development and client relationship management.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and office productivity tools.
- Strong attention to detail and effective follow-up skills.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work under supervision.
