Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and analytically elite Account Officer to anchor the financial engine of our Gwarinpa-based operations. In the specialized landscape of the FCT’s corporate sector, success is defined by "Fiscal Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize daily transaction processing with the clinical precision required for Bank Reconciliations, Financial Reporting, and Expense Tracking. This role is designed for a "Financial Architect" with 1–2 years of accounting experience who can blend "Numerical Grit" (maintaining accurate records and ledgers) with the "Strategic Agility" required to support budgeting and resource management.

Requirements:

1. Transaction Orchestration & Ledger Governance

• Transaction Sovereignty: Process daily financial entries with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Accounting Accuracy."

• Reconciliation Architecture: Execute bank and account reconciliations to ensure data alignment, providing the "Structural Foundation" for fiscal integrity.

• Record Stewardship: Maintain comprehensive and organized financial records, ensuring the "Source of Audit-Readiness" is elite and uncompromised.

2. Tactical Resilience & Expense Logic

• Expense Sovereignty: Track and categorize company expenditures to identify trends, acting as the primary "Source of Cost Visibility."

• Budget Architecture: Provide data-driven support for annual and departmental budgeting, providing the "Functional Foundation" for resource optimization.

• Reporting Stewardship: Prepare high-fidelity financial reports for management, maintaining the "Source of Executive Insight."

3. Operational Integrity & Numerical Power

• Data Sovereignty: Utilize advanced Excel functions to automate and streamline financial tracking, acting as the primary "Source of Digital Efficiency."

• Detail Architecture: Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data in real-time, providing the "Visual Foundation" for transparent bookkeeping.

• Velocity Logic: Utilize 1–2 years of accounting expertise to execute end-of-month closures with speed and precision, maximizing the "Source of Fiscal Throughput."

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Experience: 1 – 2 years of proven accounting experience in a corporate setting.

• Tech Mastery: Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Formulas, Pivot Tables, etc.).

• Attributes: Exceptional attention to detail, high level of Integrity, and strong organizational skills.
