Job Description:
- The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for developing and implementing sales, marketing, financial, and operational strategies across the assigned region.
- The role requires regular travel within the region to meet customers, achieve agreed volume targets, engage with sales teams, communicate sales goals and expectations, and gather market intelligence on customer needs and competitive activities.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and volume targets within assigned territories
- Lead, mentor, coach, and motivate a team of sales representatives to meet and exceed sales objectives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, partners, and stakeholders
- Identify new business opportunities and emerging market trends to drive regional growth
- Monitor sales performance and track progress against targets using Sales Force Automation (SFA) tools
- Analyze sales data and market insights to identify gaps, improve efficiency, and optimize performance
- Collaborate with marketing, product, finance, and other cross-functional teams to support sales initiatives
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and support the professional development of sales team members
- Ensure compliance with company policies and effective execution of sales processes
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices in sales management
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Sales volume and revenue growth
- Identification and conversion of new business opportunities
- Client acquisition, retention, and relationship management
- Execution of business development and market expansion strategies
- Collaboration and alignment with internal teams
- Performance measurement, reporting, and accountability
- Strategic decision-making and market responsiveness
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
- MBA or postgraduate qualification is an added advantage
- Proven experience in sales management, preferably within a relevant industry
Work Experience:
- Minimum of 3+ years proven experience in a sales management or regional sales leadership role

- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth

- Proficiency in CRM/SFA tools and Microsoft Office Suite
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently within assigned territories
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and customer-centric mindset
Salary
