Job Description:
- Take the lead to steer the company towards growth and profitability while aligning operations with business goals.
- Combine strategic vision with operational expertise and strong leadership skills to navigate the complexities of the organization’s business environment effectively.
- Lead the executive management team in driving the publishing strategy of the company with a focus on revenue growth, innovation, and profit generation.
- Provide guidance and direction in the actualization of the company’s vision by ensuring its flagship product maintains its position as the foremost law report in Nigeria and Africa.
- Develop and execute business strategies to ensure continuous and timely production of the client’s flagship product.
- Oversee the execution of business strategies to attain the goals of the board of directors and shareholders.
- Perform oversight of the implementation of policies and decisions made by the board of directors.
- Provide strategic advice and report on the company’s operations to the board of directors on a regular basis to inform decision-making.
- Provide strategic leadership by working with the executive management team to establish long-term goals, plans, and policies of the organization.
- Develop and oversee the implementation of comprehensive business plans by planning cost-effective operations and market development activities.
- Delegate responsibilities and supervise the work of the management team providing guidance and motivation to drive maximum performance.
- Analyze business and operational challenges and provide solutions to ensure company survival and growth.
- Oversee the company’s financial performance, investments, and other business ventures.
- See to day-to-day management of company operations to achieve strategic goals.
- Act as the face of the company to enhance public perception and brand visibility of the company.
Requirements:
- Exceptional skills in strategic planning and business development
- Proficiency in financial management
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with staff, board, and clients.
- Certifications in NBA, project management, strategic management and leadership
- Ability to engage in continuous Learning and engagement in ongoing professional development to stay updated with the latest relevant business trends
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law, business administration, finance, management, or a related field
- A Master’s Degree in law with an MBA degree, Ph.D. or equivalent higher education
- Minimum of 10 years proven track record in senior executive leadership, preferably as a Managing Director, CEO, or similar role.
