Job Description:
- Prepare and review legal documents, such as contracts, agreements, and court filings.
- Conduct research and provide support for legal cases.
- Sustain a daily calendar of meetings and events.
- Coordinate with lawyers, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Assist scheduling and coordinating meetings and hearings.
- Maintain and update legal databases and systems.
Requirements:
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology, procedures, and best practices.
- Advanced Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Experience with legal software and systems 9E.G Westlaw, SharePoint).
- Experience with document management and preparation (e.g., drafting, editing, proofreading)
- Flexible hours as dictated by the needs of business for projects and meetings.
- Familiarity with court filing procedures and deadlines.
- Access to good internet and necessary skills for remote settings.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree required in Law, Business Administration, or related field.
- Must have 3-5 years of experience as a legal Assistant or in a similar role.
Salary
