Job Description:
- Responsible for the design of drilling mud and completion fluids.
Responsibilities
- Designs, tests, and maintains drilling and completion fluid systems on an oil or gas rig.
- They prevent wellbore instability, control downhole pressures, and ensure safe drilling by constantly monitoring mud weight, viscosity, and chemical properties.
- Conduct daily fluid checks for density, viscosity, gel strengths, salinity, and solids control to keep mud properties within the target drilling window.
- Adjust mud parameters to maintain Equivalent Circulating Density (ECD) and prevent kicks or lost circulation.
- Prepare daily mud reports and comprehensive end-of-well summaries.
- Ensure strict adherence to environmental and safety regulations regarding chemical handling and waste management.

- 100% fluid efficiency, system reliability, contamination control, and cost
Requirements:
- 7+ years fluid engineering experience; IWCF L3/4; BOSIET/HUET; H2S.
