Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and highly organized Warehouse Keeper to oversee the daily operations of our storage facility. In this role, you will be the primary custodian of our inventory, responsible for the seamless flow of goods from receipt to final dispatch. You will ensure that every item is accurately recorded, properly stored, and handled with care to maintain the integrity of our supply chain.

The ideal candidate is a disciplined professional who takes pride in maintaining an orderly, safe, and efficient warehouse environment.

Requirements:

Inventory Control & Documentation

• Receiving & Inspection: Receive all incoming goods and materials, conducting thorough inspections to ensure they meet quality and quantity specifications.

• Stock Recording: Maintain accurate, real-time records of all stock movements, including incoming shipments, internal transfers, and outgoing orders.

• Audit & Counting: Conduct routine stock checks and periodic physical inventory counting to reconcile records with physical stock.

• Reporting: Monitor stock levels closely and provide timely reports on potential shortages, damages, or slow-moving items.

Warehouse Organization & Logistics

• Storage Optimization: Arrange and store products systematically in designated areas to maximize space and ensure easy accessibility.

• Labeling: Ensure all items are properly labeled and categorized according to company standards.

• Dispatch Preparation: Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare goods for dispatch and delivery, ensuring all documentation is complete.

• Inter-departmental Coordination: Work closely with the procurement, sales, and logistics teams to ensure smooth operational flow.

Safety & Maintenance

• Facility Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, dust-free, and organized warehouse environment at all times.

• Safety Adherence: Strictly follow safety protocols for handling and storing goods to prevent workplace accidents or product damage.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education:

  • Minimum of SSCE (Senior Secondary School Certificate).

• Experience:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or storekeeping role is a significant advantage.

• Core Competencies:

  • Organizational Skills: A natural ability to keep items and records in perfect order.

  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift, move, and arrange goods manually when necessary.

  • Basic Math: Solid understanding of basic inventory math for accurate stock counting.

  • Independence: Ability to manage tasks efficiently with minimal supervision while also being a strong team player.

• Attributes:

  • High level of personal responsibility, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
