Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and solution-driven Vendor Management Officer to oversee our partner ecosystem and ensure seamless service delivery. This role is designed for a strategic negotiator who can balance relationship building with rigorous performance monitoring. You will be responsible for sourcing reliable partners, managing service agreements, and resolving operational bottlenecks to ensure our clients receive the highest quality of service.

The ideal candidate is a critical thinker who thrives in fast-paced environments and takes full ownership of the vendor lifecycle—from onboarding to final fulfillment.

Requirements:

Vendor Partnership & Onboarding

  • Strategic Sourcing: Identify, evaluate, and onboard high-quality vendors across various service categories to meet organizational needs.

  • Liaison & Relationship Management: Act as the primary point of contact for all vendors, fostering long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.

  • Negotiation: Lead negotiations on pricing, terms, and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure maximum value and cost-efficiency.

Performance & Quality Control

  • Compliance Monitoring: Track vendor performance against established KPIs and company standards to ensure consistent service quality.

  • Issue Resolution: Promptly manage and resolve operational challenges or service escalations to minimize impact on client delivery.

  • Efficiency Improvement: Analyze vendor workflows to identify opportunities for streamlining processes and enhancing delivery speed.

Logistics & Data Management

  • Fulfillment Coordination: Manage logistics to ensure that client requests are fulfilled accurately and on time.

  • Documentation: Maintain meticulous vendor records, including contracts, performance history, and compliance documents.

  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports for management regarding vendor spend, performance trends, and operational highlights.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

  • Experience:

    • 2–4 years of experience in vendor management, operations, or strategic partnerships.

    • Proven track record of managing complex logistics and multi-vendor service categories.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (particularly Excel for data tracking).

    • Strong understanding of contract terms and service level agreements.

  • Core Competencies:

    • Negotiation: Exceptional ability to influence outcomes and secure favorable terms.

    • Problem-Solving: Critical thinking skills to resolve escalations under pressure.

    • Organization: High multitasking ability with an obsessive attention to detail.

    • Accountability: A self-starter who takes full ownership of the vendor network's success.
