Job Description:

We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Van Sales Representative to manage and grow our customer base within assigned territories. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, responsible for driving direct sales, building long-term customer relationships, and managing product distribution using a company vehicle. If you have a proven track record in FMCG sales and a strong grasp of local market dynamics, we invite you to help us expand our market footprint.

Requirements:

  • Sales Execution: Generate leads and execute daily sales activities to consistently meet or exceed daily, monthly, and quarterly sales targets.

  • Customer Acquisition: Identify and onboard new retail partners, wholesalers, and supermarkets within your assigned territory.

  • Direct Distribution: Manage the end-to-end sales and delivery process, ensuring products are distributed efficiently directly from the company van.

  • Relationship Management: Maintain and strengthen existing customer accounts through consistent engagement and excellent service.

  • Merchandising: Ensure optimal product visibility by maintaining proper merchandising and product displays at all customer locations.

  • Reporting & Administration: Maintain accurate daily records of sales, cash collections, and inventory levels. Provide regular market intelligence and competitor analysis to the management team.

  • Logistics & Safety: Ensure the safe handling, proper storage, and security of all products stored in the company van.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Minimum of an HND or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Experience: 2–3 years of hands-on experience in FMCG sales.

  • Technical & Legal Requirements:

    • Possession of a valid driver’s license.

    • Possession of a LASRRA (Lagos State Residents Registration Agency) ID.

    • Ability to use an Android device for mobile reporting and order management.

  • Core Competencies:

    • In-depth knowledge of local routes and market trends within assigned Lagos territories.

    • Strong negotiation, communication, and time-management skills.

    • Ability to work independently and maintain a professional demeanor.

    • Proficiency in English and at least one local language.

    • Strong numerical and record-keeping abilities.

Salary

₦100,000 - ₦150,000/month
