Job Description:

We are seeking a high-energy and reliable Van Sales Representative to spearhead our retail distribution in Cross River State. In the specialized sector of crop protection and agribusiness, success is defined by "Route Penetration", the ability to ensure Saro Agrosciences products are both available and visible in every target retail outlet. This role is designed for a "Field Merchant" who can blend "Direct Sales Grit" with the "Logistical Discipline" required to manage a delivery vehicle and maintain high-fidelity customer records.

Your mission is to ensure "Zero-Gap Availability and Consistent Revenue Growth." You will be the face of Saro Agrosciences on the road: responsible for executing daily route plans, converting potential outlets, and achieving aggressive sales KPIs. If you possess "Strong Integrity," a valid Driver’s License, and the ability to speak the local language of your assigned territory, we want you to drive our market presence.

Requirements:

1. Route Governance & Market Expansion

  • Strategic Planning: Prepare a disciplined route plan and adhere to it strictly to ensure maximum coverage and frequency within the territory.

  • Database Stewardship: Build and update a comprehensive customer directory (Name, Contact, Address) to ensure seamless relationship management.

  • Lead Transformation: Identify and onboard new retail outlets, expanding the reach of our agrochemical solutions to untapped customer segments.

2. Sales Execution & Performance Analytics

  • KPI Mastery: Deliver consistently on all primary sales metrics, including Call Rate, IMS (Internal Market Sales), Strike Rate, and Average Order Size.

  • Pricing Fidelity: Ensure all products are sold strictly according to the official company price list, maintaining market trust and brand integrity.

  • Marketing Feedback: Act as a "Field Intelligence" source by generating data on market trends and competitor activity to support regional marketing plans.

3. Fleet Management & Operational Integrity

  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the preventative maintenance of the sales van according to company guidelines to minimize downtime.

  • Logistics Documentation: Maintain an accurate driver’s logbook, detailing itineraries, fuel consumption, and maintenance history.

  • Customer Diplomacy: Act as the first point of contact for customer complaints and satisfaction issues, resolving problems on the spot to maintain high service levels.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: Minimum of BA, BSc, or HND in any discipline.

  • Licensure: Must possess a valid Driver’s License and be a competent driver.

  • Location: Must be a resident of the specific city/region in Cross River and fluent in the local language of that area.
