Job Description:

We are seeking a high-caliber UI/UX Designer to join our product team in Lagos. This is a role for a designer who understands that great design is not just how it looks, but how it works. You will be responsible for the end-to-end design process—from deeply understanding user pain points and sketching wireframes to delivering high-fidelity, interactive prototypes. Requirements:

1. User Research & Experience (UX) Strategy

• User Advocacy: Conduct user interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gather insights that drive product decisions.

• Information Architecture: Create logical site maps, user flows, and wireframes that simplify complex tasks into intuitive journeys.

• UX Auditing: Continuously analyze existing products to identify friction points and propose data-driven design improvements.

2. Visual Interface (UI) & Interaction Design

• High-Fidelity Prototyping: Design polished, modern interfaces for web and mobile (iOS/Android) using tools like Figma or Adobe XD.

• Design Systems: Build and maintain scalable design systems (component libraries, typography, and color palettes) to ensure brand consistency.

• Interactive Elements: Design micro-interactions and transitions that enhance the user experience and provide clear feedback to the user.

3. Collaboration & Technical Handoff

• Developer Liaison: Prepare clean, well-documented design handoffs (assets, CSS specs, and animations) to ensure seamless implementation by the engineering team.

• Stakeholder Alignment: Present design concepts and prototypes to product managers and executives, articulating the "why" behind your design choices.

• Agile Integration: Work within an Agile/Scrum environment, participating in sprints and iterative feedback loops.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Background

• Education: Relevant Degree in Design, Computer Science, Fine Arts, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).

• Experience: Proven experience as a UI/UX Designer, supported by a portfolio showcasing mobile and web projects.

• Tooling: Mastery of Figma (preferred), Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, and prototyping tools like Framer or InVision.
