Job Description:
We are seeking a high-velocity and structurally elite Tax Supervisor to anchor the fiscal compliance engine of our Lagos operations. In a specialized regulatory landscape where institutional momentum is dictated by the speed of the filing and the precision of the computation success is defined by "Tax Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize complex business agreements with the clinical precision required for Statutory Filings (CIT, VAT, WHT), Tax Accounting, and Strategic Advisory. This role is designed for a "Fiscal Architect" specifically a professional with 2–5 years of experience and a professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or CITN) who can blend "Regulatory Grit" (managing the deposit of Income Tax, Sales Tax, and TDS) with the "Strategic Agility" required to analyze third-party agreements and coordinate multi-unit reconciliations.
Requirements:
1. Orchestration & Advisory Governance
Advisory Sovereignty: Analyse the tax aspects of all third-party agreements with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Transactional Guidance."
Compliance Architecture: Manage the end-to-end tax provision and compliance process, providing the "Structural Foundation" for timely TDS, Sales Tax, and Income Tax returns.
Integrity Stewardship: Coordinate accounting units to ensure proper tax reconciliation, ensuring the "Source of Financial Accuracy" is elite and uncompromised.
2. Tactical Resilience & Remittance Logic
Filing Sovereignty: Execute the timely filing of WHT, VAT, and Income Tax returns, acting as the primary "Source of Statutory Punctuality."
Deposit Architecture: Oversee the accurate deposit of all collected and deducted taxes, providing the "Functional Foundation" for zero-penalty operations.
Reporting Stewardship: Prepare and send high-fidelity MIS reports on compliance status, maintaining the "Source of Management Visibility."
3. Operational Integrity & Professional Power
Legislative Sovereignty: Apply deep knowledge of CIT, VAT, and PIT to manage audits and disputes, acting as the primary "Source of Regulatory Defense."
Quality Architecture: Comply with Quality Management Systems and OHS requirements, providing the "Relational Foundation" for safe and standardized operations.
Velocity Logic: Utilize 2–5 years of progressive tax experience to accelerate the "Reconciliation-to-Filing" cycle, maximizing the "Source of Fiscal Throughput."
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
Experience: 2 – 5 years of progressive experience in tax advisory and compliance.
Certification: Highly preferred certification from ICAN, ACCA, or CITN.
Technical Power: Deep understanding of Nigerian Tax Legislation and tax dispute management.
