Job Description:

Supreme Badge World Limited is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Sports Coach to lead our school-based athletic programs. This role is perfect for a coach who views sports as a tool for character building, discipline, and physical excellence. You will be responsible for identifying raw talent, designing age-appropriate training modules, and managing competitive events. Your goal is to foster a high-performance culture while ensuring every student develops a lifelong passion for physical fitness and teamwork.

Requirements:

1. Technical Training & Skill Development

• Curriculum Design: Plan and execute structured training sessions for football, basketball, athletics, and other school sports.

• Skill Progression: Focus on fundamental movement skills (FMS), technical drills, and tactical understanding tailored to different age groups.

• Talent Identification: Actively scout and develop high-potential athletes for advanced competitions and talent pathways.

2. Event Management & Leadership

• Competitions: Organize and coordinate inter-house sports festivals, inter-school friendly matches, and internal tournaments.

• Mentorship: Act as a role model, providing discipline, motivation, and emotional support to young athletes.

• Brand Representation: Represent Supreme Badge World Limited at school events, promoting our core values of excellence and sportsmanship.

3. Administration & Equipment Care

• Asset Management: Oversee the inventory, proper use, and maintenance of all sports equipment (balls, kits, cones, etc.).

• Progress Tracking: Maintain detailed records and prepare weekly/monthly reports on student attendance, skill milestones, and program outcomes.

• Safety & Compliance: Ensure all training environments are safe and adhere to child protection and first-aid protocols.

Qualifications and Skills:

Education & Experience

• Academic Background: Minimum of NCE or OND in Physical & Health Education, Sports Science, or a related field (Bachelor’s Degree is highly preferred).

• Proven Tenure: 1–2 years of experience in sports coaching, preferably within a school or grassroots academy setting.

• Sporting Proficiency: Strong technical knowledge of Basketball, Football, Athletics, and indoor sports.

Core Competencies

• Child Development: Exceptional ability to engage, manage, and inspire children and young adults.

• Communication: Strong interpersonal skills to interact with school administrators, parents, and students.

• Location: Must reside within Kosofe, Ikorodu, Ikeja, Ifako-Ijaiye, or Alimosho.
