Job Description:
Workium is seeking a story-driven Social Media Manager to own our social presence across Instagram, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts. This is not a role for a "poster"; it is a role for a digital storyteller who can take founder insights, product updates, and client wins (visa approvals and career placements) and turn them into a steady drumbeat of content that builds deep trust and a robust sales pipeline.
You will lead the end-to-end content lifecycle from the first creative brief to the final analytics report working closely with designers, writers, and immigration consultants to unlock global mobility for talent through compelling narrative.
Requirements:
Content Planning & Execution
Omnichannel Calendar: Own the end-to-end social media calendar; plan themes, draft high-conversion captions, schedule, and post across all major platforms.
Creative Briefing: Brief the graphics designer on all visual needs, providing clear references, copy, and tone to ensure brand alignment.
LinkedIn Thought Leadership: Manage the LinkedIn page as a primary channel for authority; write founder posts and repurpose long-form content into high-engagement carousels.
Community Engagement & Growth
Authentic Interaction: Respond to DMs and comments within 24 hours. Build relationships with creators in the migration, careers, and startup ecosystems.
Story Translation: Turn client wins (visa approvals, placements) into anonymized, social-ready stories that humanize the migration process.
Trend Jacking: Identify and jump on relevant trends, pitching new formats like Live AMAs, webinars, and Twitter Spaces.
Paid Social & Performance Tracking
Paid Campaigns: Execute end-to-end paid social campaigns across Meta, LinkedIn, and TikTok, including creative briefs, A/B testing, and weekly reporting.
Analytics & KPIs: Track weekly performance (Reach, ER, CTR, and lead conversion) using native dashboards and GA4 to guide strategic decisions.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience:
2+ years of professional experience as a Social Media Manager, ideally within SaaS, EdTech, FinTech, Recruitment, or Migration brands.
Technical Proficiency:
Expertise with at least three management platforms (e.g., Buffer, Later, Sprout Social, Notion).
Hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and TikTok Ads Manager.
Comfortable with CapCut or Reels editing for quick, "light" creative tweaks.
Core Competencies:
Native-level Written English: A strong "copy voice" with the ability to write hooks that stop the scroll.
Analytical Mindset: Ability to pull numbers and synthesize them into a one-page weekly report without supervision.
Self-Driven: Capability to take a one-line brief and ship a polished post within 24 hours.
Workspace: Reliable computer, stable broadband, and the ability to work effectively across UK/EU/Africa time zones.
