Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and structurally elite Settlement & Reconciliation Officer to anchor the financial integrity engine of our client’s operations in Wuse, Abuja. In a specialized fintech and financial services landscape where institutional momentum is dictated by the speed of the resolution and the precision of the ledger success is defined by "Fiscal Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize high-volume transaction data across internal platforms, bank statements, and partner records with clinical precision. This role is designed for a "Data Architect", specifically a professional with 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience who can blend "Analytical Grit" (investigating reconciliation breaks) with the "Technical Agility" required to develop Automated Validation Checks and Process Improvements.

Requirements:

1. Orchestration & Integrity Governance

• Sovereignty of the Ledger: Execute daily reconciliation across payment platforms and bank statements with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Transactional Truth."

• Control Architecture: Flag and report variances in strict alignment with internal protocols, providing the "Structural Foundation" for institutional risk management.

• Integrity Stewardship: Ensure strict adherence to compliance standards and audit requirements, ensuring the "Source of Financial Safety" is elite and uncompromised.

2. Tactical Resilience & Analytical Logic

• Resolution Sovereignty: Investigate and resolve reconciliation breaks promptly, acting as the primary "Source of Data Fidelity."

• Settlement Architecture: Track cycles closely to guarantee the precise movement of funds, providing the "Functional Foundation" for liquidity velocity.

• Intelligence Stewardship: Prepare daily and monthly reports featuring detailed analytics, maintaining the "Source of Evidence-Based Decision Making."

3. Operational Integrity & Efficiency Power

• Automation Sovereignty: Develop automated templates and validation checks, acting as the primary "Source of Process Optimization."

• Collaboration Architecture: Partner with Finance, Operations, and external partners to resolve discrepancies, providing the "Relational Foundation" for cross-functional throughput.

• Velocity Logic: Utilize Data Analytics and Professional Expertise (ICAN/ACCA) to accelerate the "Break-to-Resolution" cycle, maximizing the "Source of Fiscal Throughput."

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: B.Sc. Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Data Analytics.

• Experience: 3 – 5 years of hands-on reconciliation experience in Fintech, Banking, or Financial Services.

• Technical Power: Strong Data Analytics background/certification; mastery of settlement cycles and financial controls.

• Certification: Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or ACA) completed or in progress is a distinct advantage.

• Location: Must be based in Wuse, Abuja (FCT).

• Salary: ₦350,000 - ₦650,000 per month.
