Job Description:
We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Senior Sales Executive to join our team. This role is designed for a medical sales professional with deep expertise in In-Vitro Diagnostics (IVD), laboratory equipment, and healthcare technology. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth across a diverse portfolio of clients, including hospitals, diagnostic centers, research institutions, and laboratories. Requirements:
Sales & Revenue Generation: Own the full sales cycle—from prospecting and lead generation to complex contract negotiation and deal closure. Develop and execute strategic plans to consistently surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual targets.
Key Account Management: Serve as a strategic partner to laboratory managers, pathologists, biomedical engineers, and hospital administrators. Cultivate deep relationships that drive retention, cross-selling, and long-term loyalty.
Market Intelligence: Stay at the forefront of the diagnostic industry. Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and emerging technologies to identify new market segments and growth opportunities.
Technical Advocacy: Deliver expert product demonstrations and presentations. Work cross-functionally with service engineers to ensure seamless product installation and customer onboarding.
Tender & Proposal Management: Prepare competitive, high-value quotations and proposals for public and private healthcare tenders.
Performance Reporting: Maintain a disciplined sales pipeline in our CRM, providing management with accurate forecasts and actionable market intelligence.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or related Biological Sciences.
Experience: 3–4 years of proven experience in IVD sales, laboratory diagnostics, or healthcare equipment sales.
Market Insight: Deep familiarity with institutional, government, and private sector procurement processes in the Nigerian healthcare landscape.
Technical Fluency: A solid understanding of laboratory workflows, diagnostic reagents, and modern IVD instrumentation.
Core Competencies: Exceptional negotiation and closing skills, sophisticated presentation abilities, and the capacity to work independently in a high-accountability environment.
