Job Description:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-driven Senior Costing Analyst / Coordinator to lead our cost management and optimization efforts. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for dissecting complex cost structures, identifying inefficiencies, and providing the data-driven insights necessary for strategic financial decision-making. You will act as a key collaborator across procurement, finance, and operations to ensure that our organization maintains peak cost efficiency and robust financial health.
Requirements:
Costing Systems: Develop, implement, and maintain standard costing systems for all products and operational activities.
Variance Analysis: Perform rigorous "actual vs. budget" and "actual vs. standard" analysis to identify and explain financial deviations.
Financial Reporting: Prepare comprehensive periodic cost reports and interactive dashboards for management review and strategic planning.
Inventory Oversight: Monitor inventory costing, ensuring precise valuation and regular reconciliation within our financial records.
Budgeting & Forecasting: Support annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes with high-accuracy cost data and projections.
Optimization & Savings: Proactively identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements to enhance overall margins.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with the procurement and operations teams to manage cost drivers and support pricing decisions through detailed margin analysis.
Compliance: Ensure all costing activities strictly adhere to internal controls and corporate financial policies.

Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
Experience: 5–7 years of proven experience in costing, financial analysis, or a similar specialized role.
Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and hands-on experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics).
Core Knowledge: A profound understanding of cost accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
Analytical Ability: Exceptional problem-solving skills with the capacity to interpret complex data and present clear, actionable insights to stakeholders.
