Requirements:

1. Integrated Project Leadership

• Lifecycle Management: Lead project execution from inception to completion, ensuring every phase aligns with the master plan and client expectations.

• Team Orchestration: Coordinate a multidisciplinary team of consultants, specialist contractors, and site personnel to ensure unified effort and high productivity.

• Stakeholder Relations: Provide transparent, data-driven progress updates to high-level stakeholders, managing expectations and ensuring project visibility.

2. Governance, Budget & Procurement

• Fiscal Stewardship: Manage multi-million naira budgets, ensuring cost-efficiency through rigorous procurement oversight and financial tracking.

• Schedule Discipline: Develop and enforce master schedules using critical path methodologies to prevent project drift and mitigate delays.

• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all site activities meet Nigerian building codes, health and safety (HSE) protocols, and environmental standards.

3. Quality & Risk Assurance

• Standard Enforcement: Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure structural integrity and architectural excellence.

• Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify potential bottlenecks—ranging from supply chain disruptions to site-specific challenges—and deploy effective solutions.

• Regulatory Liaison: Maintain professional standing with regulatory bodies to ensure all permits and inspections are cleared without friction.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Experience: 15 – 20 years of proven experience leading large-scale, complex construction projects.

• Education: Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or Quantity Surveying.

• Preferred Certifications: * Certification with the Chartered Institute of Project Managers of Nigeria (CIPMN).

  • Membership in COREN (Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria), NIOB (Nigerian Institute of Building), or NIQS (Nigerian Institute of Quantity Surveyors) is a distinct advantage.
