Job Description:
We are seeking a high-energy, results-oriented Sales Representative specializing in Small Domestic Appliances (SDA) to drive our market presence across key Nigerian commercial hubs. In this role, you will be the face of the brand to our wholesalers and dealers, ensuring that our products—from blenders and kettles to irons and air fryers—are consistently available and prominently featured. You will manage the entire sales cycle within your designated route, from product distribution and upselling to debt recovery and relationship management.
The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of the distribution chain and the determination to exceed sales targets in a competitive retail landscape.
Requirements:
Sales Execution & Distribution
Target Achievement: Driven by a results-oriented mindset to consistently meet and exceed monthly sales quotas.
Route Management: Distribute SDA products from assigned branches to a network of wholesalers and dealers within your specific territory.
Merchandising & Availability: Monitor distributor stock levels and ensure our products maintain optimal shelf presence and availability.
Financial Accountability & Reporting
Collections: Manage the recovery of outstanding balances from dealers and wholesalers to ensure a healthy cash flow.
Daily Reporting: Submit detailed daily sales reports to the Sales Supervisor, outlining achievements, market feedback, and challenges.
Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous records of leads, client interactions, and the performance of promotional activities.
Relationship Management & Growth
Business Development: Identify emerging customer needs and leverage upselling techniques to maximize the value of every account.
Conflict Resolution: Act as the primary point of contact for dealers, resolving conflicts effectively and building long-term, trust-based partnerships.
Strategic Planning: Execute daily sales objectives and maintain up-to-date customer records to optimize route efficiency.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education & Experience
Qualification: BA/BSc/HND in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Seniority: 2–5 years of experience in Sales & Business Development, preferably within the electronics or domestic appliance sector.
Technical Competencies
Commercial Acumen: Strong understanding of how sales targets directly impact the profitability of the entire distribution chain.
Negotiation Skills: Proven ability to negotiate favorable terms and close deals with high-volume wholesalers.
Operational Discipline: High level of honesty and reliability in managing company property, stock, and financial collections.
Interpersonal Skills
Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for persuasive pitching and professional reporting.
Customer Orientation: A genuine desire to address client needs while staying focused on company sales goals.
Persistence: Determination to navigate market challenges and maintain a high-performing sales trajectory.
