Overview
- The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth, leading the sales team, and expanding the company’s market presence. This role involves planning and executing sales strategies, managing client relationships, overseeing sales operations, and ensuring targets are consistently met.
- The Sales Manager works closely with management, marketing, and operations to align sales activities with business goals and to open new business opportunities across assigned regions.

- The Sales Manager plays a key leadership role in driving the company’s sales performance and market expansion. The role involves developing and implementing effective sales strategies, leading and motivating the sales team, and building strong relationships with clients and partners. The Sales Manager is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, negotiating contracts, and ensuring sales targets are achieved. This role also requires close collaboration with marketing, operations, and management to align sales efforts with overall business objectives, improve customer satisfaction, and strengthen the company’s competitive position in the market.
Job Purpose
- The purpose of the Sales Manager role is to drive revenue growth and market expansion by developing and executing effective sales strategies, leading the sales team, and building strong, long-term relationships with clients.
- The role ensures the company’s products and services are positioned competitively in the market, sales targets are achieved, and customer satisfaction is maintained while supporting the overall business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets
- Lead, manage, and motivate the sales team to deliver high performance
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and markets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners
- Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to deal closure
- Prepare sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for management
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
- Collaborate with marketing and operations teams to align sales activities with business goals
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with clients
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and handle client escalations when necessary
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field
- Master’s degree or professional certification is an added advantage
- Minimum 5+ years relevant sales experience, with 2–3 years in a managerial role
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies
- Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Excellent analytical, planning, and decision-making abilities
- Proficiency in CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and sales reporting systems
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and customer relationship management
- Ability to work independently and across multiple locations
- Industry experience in technology, IT services, drones, GIS, surveying, or media is an added advantage
Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years proven experience in sales, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial or supervisory
