Job Description:
We are seeking smart, energetic, and result-driven Sales Canvassers to lead our market expansion efforts in Agbor. In this role, you will be the face of our products on the field, responsible for direct engagement with shop owners, market traders, and various businesses. You will work on the frontline of our sales strategy, identifying new prospects and turning leads into consistent sales growth.
The ideal candidate is a confident and persuasive communicator who thrives in a field-based environment and is capable of building lasting rapport with a diverse customer base.
Requirements:
Field Sales & Market Engagement
Direct Marketing: Actively promote and market company products to potential customers through daily field visits.
Prospecting: Visit shops, local markets, and various business locations to identify and onboard new customers.
Lead Conversion: Identify prospective leads and diligently follow up to ensure successful sales closures.
Customer Relationship & Growth
Relationship Management: Maintain excellent relationships with existing and new customers to ensure long-term loyalty and repeat business.
Market Expansion: Assist in growing the company’s customer footprint by penetrating untapped areas within Agbor and its surroundings.
Target Achievement: Consistently meet and exceed assigned daily and monthly sales targets.
Reporting & Feedback
Daily Reporting: Provide accurate and timely feedback on field activities and sales performance to management.
Market Insights: Report on customer feedback and competitor activities to help refine sales strategies.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education & Experience
Degree: Minimum of an HND or B.Sc. Degree in any discipline.
Experience: Previous experience in sales, canvassing, or field marketing is an added advantage.
Core Competencies
Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and persuasive skills with the ability to communicate effectively in a local market environment.
Drive: Must be smart, proactive, goal-oriented, and highly self-motivated.
Autonomy: Ability to work effectively with little or no supervision while maintaining high productivity.
Residency: Candidates must reside in Agbor or its immediate nearby areas for ease of operation.
