Job Description:

We are seeking a vibrant and professional Sales Associate to be the face of our bakery in Ijebu-Ode. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, responsible for providing exceptional service while maintaining a seamless sales process. This position is perfect for a detail-oriented individual who enjoys a fast-paced retail environment and takes pride in representing a quality brand through excellent communication and organized operations.

Requirements:

• Customer Excellence: Greet and attend to customers in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner to ensure a positive shopping experience.

• Transaction Management: Accurately record all sales transactions, including handling cash and operating POS (Point of Sale) systems with high precision.

• Merchandising: Ensure all bakery products are properly displayed, well-stocked, and presented in an appetizing and organized manner.

• Operational Integrity: Follow all company policies, daily operational guidelines, and safety processes strictly.

• Financial Reconciliation: Support daily sales reconciliation and proactively report any discrepancies to management.

• Store Maintenance: Maintain a clean, hygienic, and welcoming environment in the front-of-house sales area.

• Internal Communication: Collaborate effectively with the production and store teams to manage stock levels and ensure product availability.

• Market Feedback: Provide valuable insights on customer preferences and emerging sales trends to help improve our product offerings.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Minimum of an OND (Ordinary National Diploma).

• Language Skills: Strong command of both spoken and written English.

• Numeracy: Good numerical skills with the ability to handle money and perform basic calculations quickly and accurately.

• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to build rapport with diverse customers.

• Mindset: Proactive, hardworking, and reliable, with a disciplined approach to following structured company processes.

• Experience: 0–5 years of experience; previous experience in customer service or retail sales is considered a distinct advantage.
