Job Description:
We are seeking a high-energy and strategically minded Sales and Marketing Officer to join our team in Lagos. In the competitive Nigerian commercial landscape, success is defined by "Market Velocity", the ability to identify high-value leads and convert them into loyal brand advocates through integrated communication. This role is designed for a "Growth Catalyst", a professional with at least 2 years of experience who can blend the "Field Grit" of direct sales with the creative rigor required to manage digital and offline marketing campaigns.
Your mission is to ensure "Sustainable Revenue Growth and Brand Visibility." You will be the primary engine of our commercial outreach: responsible for executing market entry strategies, managing client relationships, and analyzing competitor trends to keep our value proposition sharp. If you possess "Persuasive Mastery," a results-oriented mindset, and a Bachelor’s degree, we want you to drive our market excellence.
Requirements:
1. Revenue Generation & Lead Orchestration
Target Acquisition: Identify and qualify new business opportunities within the Lagos market, ensuring a robust pipeline of potential clients.
Conversion Management: Lead the end-to-end sales cycle, from initial cold calling and presentations to high-stakes negotiations and deal closure.
Account Stewardship: Build and maintain long-term relationships with key accounts, ensuring high retention rates and identifying upselling opportunities.
2. Integrated Marketing & Brand Positioning
Campaign Execution: Develop and implement marketing initiatives across digital (social media, email) and traditional channels to increase brand awareness.
Market Intelligence: Conduct ongoing competitor analysis and sector scanning to identify emerging trends and adjust marketing tactics accordingly.
Content Alignment: Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all promotional materials—from flyers to digital ads—align with the brand’s core message and values.
3. Performance Analytics & Reporting
Data-Driven Insights: Track and analyze sales metrics and marketing campaign performance to identify areas for cost optimization and increased ROI.
Reporting Integrity: Prepare daily and weekly activity reports for management, providing a transparent view of pipeline health and market feedback.
Feedback Integration: Gather field-level customer insights to help refine product offerings and improve overall customer experience.
Qualifications and Skills:
Professional Profile
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related social science field.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a sales or marketing role (prior experience in the Lagos market is an advantage).
Communication Mastery: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the "Presence" required to engage corporate and retail clients.
