Job Description:
We are seeking a high-performing Regional Sales Manager (East) to lead our commercial operations across Eastern Nigeria. This role is designed for a strategic sales leader with a deep-rooted understanding of the Eastern Nigerian market dynamics and a proven ability to manage complex distribution networks. You will be responsible for driving B2B sales growth for industrial products, managing high-value channel partnerships, and ensuring that regional targets are consistently met through disciplined execution.
The ideal candidate is a "market veteran" who combines strategic B2B sales expertise with the tactical local knowledge required to navigate and dominate the distribution landscape in the East.
Requirements:
Regional Strategy & Sales Leadership
Territory Management: Oversee all sales operations within the Eastern region, ensuring high performance and target achievement across multiple territories.
B2B Strategy Execution: Implement robust B2B sales strategies tailored to industrial products, focusing on high-volume accounts and long-term contract acquisition.
Performance Tracking: Monitor regional KPIs and sales metrics, providing the leadership team with data-driven insights into market trends and competitor activity.
Distribution & Channel Management
Network Development: Build and scale a high-efficiency distribution network across the Eastern region to ensure product availability and market penetration.
Partner Relations: Manage and strengthen relationships with key distributors and channel partners, ensuring alignment with the company’s commercial objectives.
Market Intelligence: Leverage your knowledge of the local landscape to identify emerging opportunities for market expansion within the industrial and FMCG sectors.
Product & Operations Support
Sector Focus: Drive sales specifically for industrial goods, including chemicals and ethanol, while also supporting FMCG-aligned distribution efforts.
Supply Chain Liaison: Coordinate with the logistics team to ensure seamless delivery and fulfillment for regional distributors and B2B clients.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience:
3–5+ years of experience in regional sales or high-level B2B sales roles.
Sector experience in FMCG, Manufacturing, or Industrial Products (specifically Chemicals or Ethanol) is a significant advantage.
Market Knowledge:
In-depth, current knowledge of the Eastern Nigerian market and its unique distribution networks.
Established contacts within the regional distributor landscape are highly desirable.
