Job Description:

FMR Agency is seeking a professional Receptionist to serve as the operational face of our logistics and shipping hub. In the shipping industry, the front desk is the "Final Link" in the global supply chain where international transit meets local delivery. This role is designed for a "Service Coordinator", someone with 1–2 years of experience who can manage high-volume customer notifications while maintaining strict security standards for package release.

Your mission is to ensure a seamless, secure, and professional handover of shipments to our clients. You will be responsible for the entire front-desk lifecycle: from prompt multi-channel notifications (SMS, WhatsApp, Email) and identity verification to maintaining impeccable records of pickups. If you possess a high level of "Security Awareness" and the organizational grit to manage a busy logistics reception, we want you on our team.

Requirements:

1. Shipment Notification & Lifecycle Management

  • Proactive Communication: Promptly notify customers of shipment arrivals using a multi-channel approach (Phone, SMS, WhatsApp, and Email) to ensure rapid package turnover.

  • Status Tracking: Maintain real-time records of customer notifications, ensuring that internal teams are aware of "holds" or special delivery instructions.

  • Organization: Manage incoming correspondence and phone lines, ensuring that the front-desk area reflects the professional standards of a global logistics firm.

2. Security & Verification Protocol

  • Identity Governance: Execute strict verification procedures, ensuring that all walk-in customers provide the correct documentation and identification before any package is released.

  • Documentation Integrity: Maintain accurate and tamper-proof records of all package pickups, ensuring a clear "Chain of Custody" for every shipment.

  • Access Control: Serve as the primary point of contact for the office, managing visitor flow and adhering to the organization's security procedures.

3. Internal Team Coordination

  • Cross-Functional Synergy: Liaise with warehouse and delivery teams to stay updated on the status of incoming shipments and any logistical delays.

  • Customer Dispute Resolution: Assist walk-in customers with professional diplomacy, resolving inquiries regarding shipment status or documentation requirements.

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: Minimum of OND, HND, or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.

  • Experience: 1–2 years in a customer-facing or front-desk role, preferably within Logistics, Retail, or Shipping.

  • Tech Savvy: Basic computer proficiency, including MS Office (Excel/Word) and professional email usage.
