Job Description:

We are seeking a meticulous and highly analytical QA Automation Engineer to ensure the delivery of stable, high-performing, and industry-standard software. You will be responsible for defining the testing strategy, bridging the gap between manual and automated testing, and integrating quality checks directly into our CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate has a "quality-first" mindset, deep technical expertise in Selenium with Java, and the ability to test complex applications from the UI down to the backend.

Requirements:

• Strategy & Planning: Define the test scope, approach, and traceability. Review specifications for completeness and automation feasibility.

• Test Design & Execution: Design structured test cases (manual and automated) and manage test data. Execute end-to-end, integration, regression, sanity, and UAT testing based on user stories.

• Automation Framework: Build, maintain, and evolve automated test suites. Integrate these tests into CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous quality monitoring.

• Defect Management: Identify, validate, log, and track defects with precise severity levels. Proactively suggest improvements to features or design based on testing findings.

• Collaboration: Partner with development teams to review design docs, advise on testing methodologies, and pinpoint high-risk or defect-prone areas early in the SDLC.

• Reporting: Document test strategies and maintain daily status/progress reports to keep stakeholders informed of product readiness.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: B.Sc. degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of active post-graduation experience in software testing, IT QA, business analysis, or product management.

• Technical Expertise:

  • Mandatory: Selenium with Java.

  • Proficiency: At least one automation framework (Cypress, Playwright, or similar).

  • Automation Migration: Proven ability to convert manual test scenarios into robust automated scripts.
