Job Description:

We are seeking a high-velocity and structurally elite Public Relations Specialist to anchor the reputation engine of our organization in Lagos. In a specialized media landscape where institutional momentum is dictated by the speed of the story and the precision of the sentiment success is defined by "Narrative Sovereignty", the ability to harmonize brand communication with the clinical precision required for Media Diplomacy, Influencer Coordination, and Crisis Communication. This role is designed for a "Communication Architect", specifically a professional with at least 4 years of experience who can blend "Relational Grit" (maintaining networks with KOLs, KOCs, and tech bloggers) with the "Strategic Agility" required to manage Public Opinion and Negative Publicity.

Requirements:

1. Orchestration & Media Governance

  • Sovereignty of the Press: Draft and distribute press releases with millimetric focus, acting as the primary "Source of Brand Narrative."

  • Relationship Architecture: Build and maintain strong ties with key local media outlets, providing the "Structural Foundation" for increased visibility.

  • Integrity Stewardship: Maintain regular contact with KOLs, KOCs, and tech bloggers, ensuring the "Source of Promotional Content" is elite and uncompromised.

2. Tactical Resilience & Crisis Logic

  • Sentiment Sovereignty: Monitor and manage public opinion, acting as the primary "Source of Reputation Stability."

  • Mitigation Architecture: Execute timely and effective crisis communication during negative incidents, providing the "Functional Foundation" for brand protection.

  • Execution Stewardship: Provide tactical support to the broader marketing department, maintaining the "Source of Departmental Synergy."

3. Operational Integrity & Influence Power

  • Content Sovereignty: Utilize strong writing and editing skills to develop high-quality content, acting as the primary "Source of Communication Quality."

  • Network Architecture: Leverage an established network of media professionals and influencers, providing the "Relational Foundation" for strategic reach.

  • Velocity Logic: Utilize 4+ years of specialized PR expertise to accelerate the "Incident-to-Response" cycle, maximizing the "Source of Narrative Throughput."

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Mass Communication, Marketing, or a related field.

  • Experience: Minimum of 4 years in public relations, media relations, or communications.

  • Technical Power: Elite writing, editing, and crisis communication management skills.

  • Influence Power: Established network with media professionals and influencers is a distinct advantage.

  • Location: Must be based in Lagos.
