Job Description:

We are seeking an engineering-elite, precision-obsessed, and operationally rigorous Project Governor to anchor the structural integrity and operational momentum of our construction ecosystem. In the complex world of high-stakes infrastructure development—where institutional success is dictated by the velocity of site-production and the millimetric accuracy of structural design success is defined by "Project Sovereignty" the ability to harmonize high-level structural calculations with the clinical precision required for BOQ-Governance Architecture, Site-Safety Sovereignty, and Cost-Performance Stewardship. This role is designed as an "Engineering Command Center" a critical residency for an ambitious structural/civil leader who can blend "Site-Engineering Grit" (mastering the complexities of reinforcement detailing and architectural interpretation) with the "Structural Agility" required to execute High-Fidelity Construction Workflows.

Requirements:

1. Structural Sovereignty & Planning Architecture

• Sovereignty of Design: Prepare and review structural designs, calculations, and reinforcements for buildings/civil works, acting as the primary "Source of Institutional-Structural Throughput."

• Planning Architecture: Develop project schedules and interpret architectural drawings into executable engineering designs, providing the "Structural Foundation" for seamless construction.

• Integrity Stewardship: Ensure strict compliance with approved specifications, contract requirements, and regulatory standards, ensuring the "Source of Engineering-Truth" is elite and uncompromised.

2. Governance Sovereignty & Site-Execution Logic

• Site Sovereignty: Oversee site teams (engineers, subcontractors) and enforce health/safety policies, acting as the primary "Source of Field-Momentum."

• Strategy Architecture: Coordinate with architects, consultants, and clients to streamline project progress, providing the "Functional Foundation" for conflict-free construction.

• Risk Stewardship: Conduct rigorous risk assessments and mitigation planning, maintaining the "Source of Crisis-Mitigation."

3. Operational Fidelity & Procurement Power

• Diagnostic Sovereignty: Track key performance indicators (cost, schedule, quality), acting as the primary "Source of Management-Insight."

• Procurement Architecture: Prepare detailed Bills of Quantities (BOQ) and review supplier/subcontractor quotations, providing the "Relational Foundation" for fiscal accuracy.

• Velocity Logic: Utilize Cost-Tracking Expertise to accelerate the "Design-to-Delivery" cycle, maximizing the "Source of Organizational-Profit Momentum."

Qualifications and Skills:

Professional Profile

• Education: Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.

• Experience: Proven track record in project operations, structural design, and site supervision (Construction industry).

• Technical Power: Mastery of structural design software, AutoCAD, BOQ preparation, and project management tools; deep understanding of civil/building codes.

• Aptitude: Exceptional leadership, stakeholder coordination, and the ability to interpret architectural complexity into actionable structural engineering.

• Mindset: Disciplined, highly detailed, and ready to maintain "Project Sovereignty" in the Chevron-Lekki operational landscape.
