Job Description:
We are seeking a strategic and growth-oriented Product Manager – Workplace Banking to architect and drive our strategy for salary accounts and employer partnerships. In this role, you will position the Bank as the preferred financial partner for organizations by developing embedded financial solutions that cater to both employers and employees. You will lead the charge in sustainable customer acquisition, deposit mobilization, and increasing transaction volumes through tailored value propositions.
The ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of retail liability products and has a proven track record in bulk onboarding and partnership-driven business development.
Requirements:
Strategic Growth & Acquisition
Strategy Execution: Develop and implement the workplace banking roadmap across Corporate and SME segments to secure dominant market share.
Partnership Management: Drive the acquisition of salary accounts and forge high-impact employer partnerships, serving as the primary liaison for HR teams and institutional partners.
Value Proposition Design: Create and refine tailored employee benefits, including specialized loans, savings plans, and digital banking lifestyle perks.
Sales Coordination & Optimization
Bulk Onboarding: Collaborate with Sales teams to execute seamless bulk onboarding and activation strategies for new employee clusters.
Process Integration: Work with Product and Technology teams to build integrated solutions, such as payroll APIs and digital onboarding tools, to reduce friction in account acquisition.
Segment Expansion: Identify and penetrate new growth sectors, including the public sector, large corporates, and institutional clusters.
Performance & Engagement
Metric Monitoring: Track and optimize key performance indicators, including the number of accounts opened, funding ratios, and overall transaction volumes.
Engagement Campaigns: Launch workplace-specific marketing campaigns and engagement programs to drive account activity and retention.
Profitability Management: Ensure cost-effective acquisition strategies while managing the overall profitability of the workplace banking product line.
Qualifications and Skills:
Experience:
3–5 years of experience in Retail Banking, Product Management, or Business Development.
Direct, proven experience in salary account acquisition or workplace banking.
A strong track record in deposit mobilization and partnership management within the financial services sector.
Technical Skills:
Deep knowledge of retail banking liability products and the Nigerian financial landscape.
Ability to structure and scale complex, partnership-driven financial products.
Strong analytical skills with a focus on commercial acumen and ROI.
