Job Description:

Are you an expert in strategic sourcing with a background in architectural or interior design projects? We are looking for a highly skilled Procurement Lead to join our team in Lagos. You will play a critical role in driving our company’s project success by managing the end-to-end procurement process for materials, furniture, and services, ensuring that every project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Requirements:

• Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement procurement strategies tailored to our architectural, interior design, and workspace fit-out projects.

• Vendor Management: Source, vet, and engage a high-performing network of suppliers and contractors. Maintain an active vendor database and conduct regular performance evaluations to ensure service excellence.

• Cost Optimization: Analyze quotations and lead contract negotiations to secure the best pricing, favorable payment terms, and maximum value for money.

• Project Collaboration: Partner closely with Architects, Designers, Project Managers, and Quantity Surveyors to understand project specifications and ensure seamless material delivery to sites.

• Operational Excellence: Process purchase orders and contracts, monitor inventory levels, and manage the replenishment process to prevent project delays.

• Financial Oversight: Track procurement expenditures against approved budgets, manage procurement reporting, and identify cost-saving opportunities.

• Leadership & Compliance: Supervise the procurement team, ensure strict adherence to company policies, and mitigate procurement risks to guarantee business continuity.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BSc/HND) in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. An MBA, MSc, or MA is considered a strong advantage.

• Experience: Minimum of 5–7 years of professional procurement experience, specifically within the architectural, construction, interior fit-out, or workspace design industry.
