Job Description:
- We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Procurement Assistant to support the procurement team in sourcing goods and services, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing in line with company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in sourcing suppliers and obtaining quotations for required materials and services
- Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company procedures
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information
- Follow up with vendors on order status, delivery schedules, and discrepancies
- Support vendor evaluation and maintain good supplier relationships
- Ensure compliance with internal procurement policies and approval processes
- Assist in inventory tracking and stock level monitoring (where applicable)
- Provide administrative support to the procurement team
Requirements:
- ND in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field with 1 year experience in procurement or administrative support role
- Good knowledge of procurement processes and vendor management
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
