Job Description:

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Operations Officer to serve as the backbone of our logistics department. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end coordination of supply chain processes, ensuring that goods move efficiently from origin to final delivery. If you are an expert at managing shipping documentation, navigating customs requirements, and solving logistical bottlenecks in real-time, we want you to lead our daily operations.

Requirements:

  • Logistics Coordination: Oversee daily shipment processing, from booking and documentation to final tracking and delivery.

  • Import/Export Handling: Manage the complex documentation required for international trade, including customs clearance and regulatory paperwork.

  • Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact between shipping lines, customs agents, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution.

  • Proactive Problem Solving: Monitor shipment lifecycles and identify potential delays before they impact our service delivery.

  • Workflow Optimization: Analyze current operational processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements that drive productivity.

  • Compliance & Cost Control: Ensure all activities adhere to safety and legal standards while monitoring operational expenses to meet cost targets.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Experience: 2–4 years of hands-on experience in logistics operations, import/export handling, or supply chain coordination.

  • Technical Expertise:

    • Practical knowledge of air and sea freight processes.

    • Solid understanding of shipping documentation and customs clearance procedures.

    • Familiarity with logistics tracking software and operational systems.

  • Core Competencies:

    • Attention to Detail: Meticulous approach to documentation and record-keeping.
