Job Description:

We are seeking a high-caliber Operations & HR Manager to serve as the strategic and operational engine of our office. In this pivotal role, you will act as the Owner’s Representative, ensuring that the organizational vision is translated into daily discipline, accountability, and peak performance. You will be responsible for the "Internal Backbone"—overseeing all departments, enforcing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and managing the full employee lifecycle from hiring to performance optimization.

The ideal candidate is a firm, organized leader who thrives on structure and has the emotional intelligence to handle sensitive HR matters while maintaining uncompromising professional standards.

Requirements:

Operational Leadership & Governance

  • Owner’s Representative: Act as the primary authority in the office, ensuring all staff understand and uphold company policies and the owner’s standards.

  • Daily Oversight: Supervise operations across all departments to ensure consistency, discipline, and a high-performance environment.

  • SOP Enforcement: Ensure strict compliance with Standard Operating Procedures and identify areas for process improvement to drive efficiency.

Human Resources & People Management

  • Talent Acquisition: Lead the hiring process, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding new talent.

  • Performance Management: Track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), conduct performance evaluations, and handle disciplinary actions or terminations when necessary.

  • Training & Development: Facilitate staff training (structured training for the manager will also be provided) to ensure the team is equipped to meet company goals.

  • Attendance & Conduct: Monitor staff attendance, productivity, and professional conduct, ensuring a respectful and accountable workplace.

Conflict Resolution & Escalation

  • Primary Liaison: Serve as the first point of escalation for all internal office-related matters, grievances, or operational bottlenecks.

  • Rule Enforcement: Maintain an environment where rules are followed consistently, handling sensitive personnel issues with discretion and firmness.

Qualifications and Skills:

Experience & Skills

  • Leadership: Proven experience in Operations, HR, or a senior people-leadership role.

  • Communication: Absolute fluency in English (both written and spoken) with the ability to draft professional reports and policies.

  • HR Mastery: Strong skills in hiring, training, and managing diverse teams.

  • Organizational Ability: Exceptional time-management skills and the ability to juggle multiple departmental priorities.

Personal Attributes

  • Accountability: A natural drive to enforce rules and hold others (and yourself) to high standards.

  • Proximity: Residence within Alimosho LGA is highly preferred to ensure ease of commute for the shift requirements.
